The Pirelli Scorpion E-MTB Tyre is designed specifically with durability and capability to improve e-bike performance. The Tread pattern has additional "bridges" that help support the knobs and improve mud shedding in wet conditions and help you perform on a range of surfaces as this is a mixed surface tyre. Pirelli have added Lgnin to the SmartGRIP+ Compound to help handle the torque and speed from e-bikes for better all-around ability. The tyre is rounded out with HyperWALL technology that improves handling and pinch flat resistance to handle the demands of hitting the trails on an electric bike.
Tread: The tread pattern of the Scorpion E-MTB M is optimised to complement the properties of the rubber compound to offer uncompromising performance in variable conditions over differing terrain. The additional "bridges" help support the knobs and improve mud shedding in wet conditions.
Single Compound: We added Lignin to our E-MTB specific compound called SmartGRIP+. Lignin is a naturally sourced chemical component that enhances performance in light of the unique speed and torque features associated with electric motors of modern E-MTBikes. HyperWALL: A newly designed patented construction that increases even further handling and pinch flat resistance.
